Information about Standards Committee

The Standards Committee comprises nine Councillors, two Independent Persons, two Co-opted Representatives and two Parish Representatives. It is responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct within the Council, monitoring and advising upon Codes of Conduct, and considering complaints that a Borough or Parish Councillor, or a co-opted member, may have breached the Members’ Code of Conduct.
